client: Harvest Urban Market

The fifteen year old Harvest Ranch Market, an upscale and much-loved neighborhood fixture in San Francisco’s Castro district, was planning to expand to a larger facility South of Market. Their previous identity reflected their origins as a health food store, but they had evolved to include many gourmet items, a salad bar ranked best in the city, and a growing menu of ready-to-eat meals. Harvest and the Vancouver architectural firm Morgan live work play, Inc. contacted us to work on rebranding Harvest to fit their new mission, and to market the store prior to launch. We created a playful and elegant identity that, like the new retail space, serves as a vessel and a stage for the unique product the market offers.
