Academy of Friends was founded in 1980 as a small, private Oscar Night party—twenty-five friends, a little food, a lot of champagne and a touch of Awards Night glamour. Over subsequent years, the party became an HIV/AIDS fundraiser, a reaction to the toll HIV was taking on the San Francisco community. Today, it has grown into not only one of the most fabulous Awards Night celebrations outside of Los Angeles, it is one of the largest contributors to Bay Area HIV/AIDS service organizations, distributing in excess of 4 million dollars over two decades. We worked with AOF for 5 consecutive years, naming each event and creating an exciting new visual identity every year. We developed promotional materials that included invitation packages, advertising, billboards, bus shelter and bus advertising, event signage, ticketing and fundraising collateral. In a three year period, AOF saw the annual revenue distribution from the fundraising event grow over 190%. | |||||

Brochure This fundraising mailer featured profiles on the organizations that AOF has helped. The headline recognizes that donors tend to be called on repeatedly: You give and you give and you give ...But don't stop now. |
